Ok, it's a bold claim! Maybe even crossing into clickbait territory here but the turmeric in our golden latte has incredible health and happiness boosting properties;

  • It increases antioxidant capacity which is proven to improve brain function and skin protection

  • It reduces inflammation which is the cause of many health conditions like heart disease and metabolic syndrome

  • It boosts your immune system

  • It eases joint pain and aids recovery from soreness after working out

  • It is effective against a range of gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome

  • It is proven to boost your mood

  • It also enhances liver detoxification so definitely one for your morning after the night that was routine!

Ok ok, give us the recipe so!

Ingredients

350ml of coconut milk

1/4 tsp ground turmeric

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp maple syrup

a grind of black pepper

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk constantly over a gentle heat, ideally with a milk frother if you have one. Once hot, pour into mugs and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon to serve.
